If you’re looking to purchase a health plan on the Health Insurance Marketplace, you have the opportunity to purchase a dental plan too. Dental coverage from Guardian is affordable and easy to access.
If you have children, you can rest assured all of Guardian’s dental plans include the pediatric dental essential health benefit. This is a comprehensive set of dental services for children under age 19 as mandated by the Affordable Care Act (ACA).
We want to help you find the right Guardian dental plan on the Marketplace to fit your budget and meet your needs. Here are 3 easy steps to help you get started:
HealthCare.gov is the government-run health care exchange website where you can find and enroll in health care insurance. If you do so, you have the opportunity to also enroll in a dental plan.
Several states have created their own exchange websites, meaning residents can purchase coverage there, instead of on HealthCare.gov. If you’re unsure if your state has its own exchange, or simply don’t know your state-run website, HealthCare.gov will direct you to the right place once you select your state.
You can only buy insurance coverage on the Health Insurance Marketplace during open enrollment or if you qualify for a SEP.
To see what plans you may be eligible for, you’ll need to start a Marketplace application and create an account. You’ll need to provide some personal information to the exchange, as well as setup security questions. Once you create an account, you’ll be able to log in without having to complete this process again.
If you already have an account, log in and make sure that all your information is up-to-date before choosing a plan.
After you complete your application, you’ll be able to view health plans on the Health Insurance Marketplace. Once you purchase a health plan, you can then shop and purchase a Guardian dental plan.
